It never said why he switched.

Can anyone just switch nights if they do not feel like running against the people on their night

IT's tony Stewart, They're testing at Daytona and I bet if it was a choice of him running thursday or not at all. They picked thursday.

A prevous racing conflict is a good reason

But to me because I am so and so is not a good reason

It must be a closed test because KK, Pj Jones and Leffler are still racing on Friday

Could be a Major sponsor saying you have to be at Such and such.

I kinda agree about the I don't care who you are deal. Never seen Earl let anyone tell him what to do. In fact I seen him have a few BIG names escorted right off the track.

every year they have guys switch nights. so i would say nothing that hasnt been done before.

Exactly right...in fact, they've let "normal" guys who have broke or crashed in hot laps on a Wednesday or Thursday not run that night and move to Friday.

arron fike was one that comes to mind indoing that. about two or 3 years agohe hit a crew guy on the ramp. then competed later in the week.
