Ot race car in swamp

Re: Ot race car in swamp
Actually it is a street car and not a race car. $2M car in the drink. Ouch!

Re: Ot race car in swamp
if that was a sprint car 2-3 day we could have it rebuilt and back on the road....or track brand new

Re: Ot race car in swamp
You think the guy had flood insurance?? After being in salt water the car might be a write off, the engine for sure. It was amazing that the guy got the actual crash on video, even if he did think it was a "Lambo". I hope that was a really big deal he was working on with that phone call so he can buy a new one :15:

That reminds me of a story that a guy that used to travel with Carl Kinser told me. They were racing at TSS one night and after the night was over and they pulled back in the garagebin Oolitic, Carl asked them where the car was. They backtracked and found it on Hwy 57 down by the canal. Guess it had came off the open trailor and ended up in the swamp.

Ask Greg Staab about losing his Sprintcar and trailer in an Indiana cornfield.

Re: Ot race car in swamp
Sorry, when I replied I thought it was the crash video. Go to YouTube and put in Bugatti crash and the actual crash is there.

Since i live in Wisconsin i beg to differ on his quote of "salt water isn't good for anything". Salt water is part of the process in making all our tasty types of cheese here in cheeseland! ;)
