From what I understand the surgery went well and Steve is at home resting.

Excellent news. I am glad to hear that about Steve. He is a great driver and an asset to sprintcar racing.

hope everything went well for the greatest show on dirt driver of all time. we can not wait to see you at the burg and eldora next year.get well soon!!:6::6:

During the outlaws finale they mentioned he had disc issues in his neck and would undergo a procedure to fix it. Heal up well Steve and get #21. That would be a good number to retire on.

Doctors are amazing these days! All the injuries racers suffer and most of the time they fix them right up! I have had a serious neck surgery and it was the most amazing thing, I am better now than I was when I was 15 yrs old. The rest of me isnt 15 anymore though....
