USAC/UMARA/WOMS @ Berlin Saturday
 

Is USAC going to support the midget show this weekend at Berlin? No USAC Regional cars supported the Co-sanctioned race June 13. Did they figure out whatever the issue was earlier?

The issue earlier in the year was tires. WOMS were using American Racers as an alternative and didn't want to give Hoosier exclustivity but after the dismal car turnout in the earlier race, it was made clear Hoosiers were the only tire that could be used in this Berlin race hoping to draw more cars.
USAC pulled their sanctioning of the Regional Midget program. It is now only DK Promotions [Don Kenyon].
Also unlike the last 2 years, UMARA has nothing to do with this race, however I believe there will be lots of UMARA cars at this event. The Midgets always put on a heck of a show at Berlin. Come out and see it for yourself.

Thanks for clearing that up. That makes sense. ill be there. No ISMA this year which really sucks. THis is normaly my favorite weekend of the year and probably the only race around with Supers, Sprints, and midgets at the same track but it will still be good im sure. cya there.

Great list so far,

my only change would be NO Dan Vandermolen and I am pretty sure you can add Brad Greenup to the list. I wonder if the Marc DeBoumont team will be there. I heard rumors they might, so that will add 3 more cars.
