An alleged drunk driver traveling the wrong way on I-280 in North Toledo hit the family of eight almost head on, killing a mother and four children, one of whom was only an infant. Police said the driver’s blood alcohol level at the time of the car accident was 0.254 percent, over 3 times the legal limit in Ohio, according to the Toledo Blade. The family was believed to be traveling home to Maryland after visiting relatives in Michigan for Christmas when the car accident occurred.

Guess what? This is only half of the story. What the attorney and Mr. Lockard won't tell you is that his blood test showed that he had multiple drugs in his system. I don't know why anyone would want to be a police officer anymore. This officer was doing his job taking this clown off of the street before he killed someone. IF they wouldn't have got the urine or blood then the defense attorney would be ******** that they didn't have enough evidence. Easy to second guess when you only have the story from the liberal media huh!!

The Arrested has the right to refuse a test, Which is a Guilty plea BTW. Aparently he didn't refuse due to breathalizer results. DOn't they normally take you to the station for a urine sample?

Yeah he was probably impared. But without all the facts either way. The story sounds like Unreasonable decisions were made.

Id be more afraid of us bikers than the LBurg Police :)

Wanna hear something more frightening? The cops out here are now empowered to draw blood ON SCENE!! He doesn't call an EMT,THE COP DOES IT!!! And a refusal is an automatic suspension.Man,I'm glad I quit drinking.

Its hard telling what all he had in his system. I've been to L-Burg 7 times this year and never had a problem with any of the police. Big guy who is usally working the pit gate always stops me to talk because my wife is from that area and he knows her parents. I kinda stick out and don't look like a class citizen but I never felt like I had to "be careful" or watch my back and I'm drunk 99% of the time down there. :32: Just don't drink and drive. It's the law and any good cop that thinks your drunk will get you off the street. Sound to me this guy is sue happy:7:
