What a great day we had!
 

We had lunch in terre haute today! A racers reunion! And then we went to don smith play place! Here is the drivers that was there and we all had a great time! Johnny rutherford ken schrader pancho carter gary bettenhausen bill vukovich larry dickson jack hewitt tom bigelow joe saldana bill englehart johnny parsons charley masters ralph ligouri gary irwin steve lotshaw rich leville bruce walkup steve chassey mel kenyon brad marvel steve stapp speedy bill smith and your iow favorite number 28 in your program but number 1 in your heart! Also car owners and mech.! Bob higman dave mcpherson junie heffner mel moffett and robin miller special thanks to don smith jim mills and dick jordan!

Man that sounds like an awesome day. I would have loved to been at that lunch. So many legends of our sport on that list. I am very jealous Superduke I would love an invite to the next one. :6:

What a great time that must have been,Hewitt mentioned this at Springfield and seemed to be looking forward to being there! I wish I could have sat in a corner and listened!

Man, why didn't someone alert the media (cough someone who works for a tv station possiblyt hat is a member on IOW cough)....Been to Smith's place out in the country....a car and race car's fan mecca.
