Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Seating)
My girlfriend and I will be in Indianapolis this weekend and we are thinking about trying to find some tickets for the Brickyard. What are some sections that would be a good bang for your buck to sit in? Thanks!!

Re: Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Seating)
Since you cannot see around the whole track from any seat in the house, I'd try to get something across from the pits with a view of a video screen.... but those seata aren't cheap!

Re: Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Seating)
My seats are in the Paddock, Section 16 which gives a good view of the pits and there is a video screen across from me. Any of the double letter rows in the Paddock will put you in the shade and give you a view of the pits, and there are video screens visible from most of those seats. Face value of the tickets is $90. The Brickyard is not really an exciting race, but it is Indy, and just being at the track is always an experience.

Re: Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Seating)
We actually have 4 we won't be using this weekend. We're in Stand J, Section 30, Rows V and W, Seats 7 and 8 (in each row). The sun is at your back most of the day and the seats, located right where turn 4 and the front stretch meet, are directly across from one of the jumbo screens and a scoring tower. You can enter at gate 8 or 9 and reasonably priced parking is less than two blocks from the gate. We're home within 60 minutes of the race ending due to the easy in and out (we live in Bloomington). Face value is $70/ticket but we'd be willing to deal with anyone should they be interested. The seats are actually quite good...you can see the cars through 3, the north chute, through 4, down the straight, and watch them as they head through 1. The rest you can see on the jumbo screen.

Northwest Vista for sure. You see half of the track (coming out of 3, thru 4 and all the way down into turn 1) plus you can see who is entering and leaving the pits. Also, try to get your seats as high as possible in any stand you wind up in. The low seats are terrible!!!!

Re: Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Seating)
E-bay has a ton of seats in E and B Penthouse that are going for face value. I would sit in Box 15-25 in B-Penthouse and box 1-15 in E-penthouse if possible.
