I always stay at the Super 8 and have never been disappointed. Great price and free high-speed internet. Just behind Cracker Barrel and basically just across the street from International House of Pancakes, both of which are good. I have stayed other places in Kokomo and this is the only one I would recommend now. Right off Route 31. Phone is 765/455-3288/

Not sure what your price range is but the Hampton Inn and Suites is probably the nicest one in Kokomo. Kind of in the middle of town and right on 31, close to everything north and south.

any where near kokomo to get a shower? can sleep in tent but would like a shower, not a rain shower.

That is where I am staying. The Holiday Inn was booked.

Super8 at Gas City is good. Stayed there midget week. Close to the track, too.

There are a bunch at the intersection of 22 and I69. Okay, more than two, anyway. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn, and am booked there this year. REAL close to the track.
