AAA, FOTA F1, USAC and the USGP @ IMS

This F1 blogger is floating the idea that AAA sanction the new F1 series. Hmmmm.

If IMS gets a race, will USAC be involved like they were earlier in this decade.

I haven't been into this kind if racing for a long time, but if this thing comes to fruition, it'll be one of the biggest stories in worldwide racing, in a long time. A racing coup d' etat. Maybe different people running an Indy Grand Prix can turn it into an event that people will want to go see.

You have to be a member of ACCUS to run the F1 race in the USA. ACCUS is the US arm of FIA. AAA is not a member. What does it take to become a member? I have no idea.

AAA is a member of the FIA.

Really doesn't make a difference now, they are best buddies again.
