Gas City

I cant believe no one has posted this yet, even though someone told me they "knew this since last Friday". Leroy was in the stands last night at Bloomington even though gas City was open for business running UMRA and the rest of their regular show. He told me that he wasnt at Gas City anymore and that Jiggs was back running the track.

I didn't think much about it, but the week before last he was helping out at Kokomo on Sunday night. The decision may have already been made then.

He was helping us out at Kokomo as we were a man short. I can say at that time he was not there due to the Gas City situation. He was there as a friend to help us out. Leroy is a decent guy. Gas City was just not the right situation for him. I believe he would be a great promoter and track director if given the keys and full power to make the decisions at the trac:22:k!!!

I dont know the guys name that took over and really dont know who the other guy is either, but I run with the UMRA, and Gas City was the best I had seen it all season. If you werent there we had a downpore for about 30mins and they still managed to have a super smooth, bad fast, and real racey track and have us out of there before 11:00. Track was in perfect shape, Thanks Again to all the Crew at Gas City. :9::8:

Not trying to be a smart :26: here but most dirt tracks anywhere would turn out good if they had a 30 minute rain before the show started. As a fan that's what i hope happens everytime i go to a race. That's like getting an extra 2 loads on the track that you know they weren't going to put on anyway. :22:

I know that, I meant that they could of easily called the race or delayed it longer they did a great job of making the track good in a short period of time. Most tracks would have called the race.
