Re: Winchester -- King of the Wings
I'm leaving for Indiana at 6am tomorrow. With the dismal weather forecast for Friday and Saturday, I'm going to TRY and double up Sunday. Winchester in the afternoon and then Kokomo. Mapquest says it's a little more than an hour and a half. So, do you guys think it's doable?

You should be able to make the racing program at Kokomo. I would plan on at least an hour and a half travel time to Kokomo. I take State Road 32 West to Farmland and pick up State Road 1. I take State Road 1 North until it intersects with State Road 26. I take State Road 26 West (left) to just south of Upland, turn right and then take State Road 22 West to Kokomo. At US 31 in Kokomo turn North (right) and go to Morgan Street (Arby's) and turn West (left) on Morgan. You go about 2 miles to Davis Street (Just across second set of RR tracks) and turn right onto Davis and you are about 1/4 away from Kokomo Speedway. |
