Ok first off... Say what you wanna say but I firmly believe that "The Rockett" was flat out the fastest car in the A-Main... balls to the wall he was wicked fast... Nice run Hockett!!!

As for Eldora... even with dust late in the evening the race has to be one of the better USAC races of the last few years ive seen ... Slide jobs were plenty passing was plenty and well it was a hell of a race...

yes.hockett was FAST... But you gotta also give a goodjob to brady short.he was makin it look good on the bottom....

Jesse gets the monkey off his back and he could win that thing many times. DOn't know what his deal with motors is, But he's had nothing but problems. He spent the last fifteen laps of that race battling a bent Jacobs Ladder and still went forward and brought it home third.

My Mistake, It was Short throwing that Slider on Ballou off four on the last lap. Looked good too.
