Re: sam stockton condition?
Sam Stockon was admitted to Union Hospital on Friday night with chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea and vomiting... all classic symptoms of a heart attack.
I visited with Sam and Rosie Saturday night in the Coronary Care Unit at Union. He was feeling much better. They had him on a heart monitor, oxygen and IV's with a nitro drip. The plans were to keep him in the CCU unit over the weekend and monitor his condition and to determine if any additional damage had been done to his heart. He was chomping at the bit to get out of the hospital and continue with his developement and scheduling of the new SCORA steel block non wing sprint series. (That and trying to find the ISU girls basketball game on TV.) Sam was very disappointed that he was unable to attend the Circle Track Expo and wishes to extend his apology to all of those he had planned meetings with. Joe Chambers |

Re: sam stockton condition?
Not sure how long they will keep Sam in the hospital, so the best bet is to send any cards to his home address. Rosie will see to it he gets them.
