USAC in Wisconsin - 2008

Speculation over on Midget Madness is that USAC will have four midget events in Wisconsin next May. Rumor is that 3 will be on pavement and 1 on dirt. We'll have to wait and see.

There is talk now that the three pavement dates have been selected. If true the USAC midgets will be at LaCrosse on Friday, May 16, Slinger on Saturday, May 17, and the legendary 1/4 mile at Rockford, IL on Sunday, May 18, a day show. I hope it is true as I have always wanted to go to Rockford for a show.:thumb:

That sounds like a great road trip. I would certainly like to see them race in these three places. I've already got it on my calendar. Please keep us up to date on any other news.

I'm confused( happens alot), does this mean that USAC will not be running all of the co[sanctioned dirt races in Wisc. like they did this year?

I don't think that this has anything to do with the dirt races up there. This is a seperate deal entirely.

I think thay with it being early in the year..Usac will have 25-30 cars of there own plus some Umara..Orp this june had 40..There will be alot of new young drivers I think running full time next year...Chad Boat..Kenny Biro..Dakoda Armstrong...Cole Whitt...Brett Beauchamp..I think it will be a great time.
