Re: I-74 VCS Sign
Found this somewhere??
Chris Nunn the "voice of Brownstown Speedway" decided to resign at the end of the 2008 racing season to pursue other racing interest. His final farwell lead to an emotional goodbye at the awards banquet in December, where everyone felt this would be the last time they would hear Chris behind the mic. This sparked a lot of thought and interest from not only the staff but also the fans and the racers of Brownstown Speedeway. After lots of consideration and planning it seems there might be a solution that will have everyones best interest at heart. Justin Robertson who had filled in and helped Chris last year and who was set to announce at the track this year decided he might like to be more hands on. Track personel has shifted somewhat and an opening became available for a position on the track and Justin decided to take it. The announcer position is now vacant and there is an obvious person who should fill it, Chris. At this time Brownstown Speedway would like to welcome Chris Nunn back to the mic as the voice of the Speedway, so what do you say Chris?????????? Congrats Chris !!! :dologob: |

Re: I-74 VCS Sign
Man I didnt even get time to announce it on here...lol
Joe Jeffries will do a hell of a job on the mic as usual. He really didnt need me to cramp up his style. I had to take the Brownstown offer due to the situation at home, and considering half of my family works there, it makes sense financially. Every Saturday night I have off at Brownstown, ill definately be supporting the NEW Vermilion County Speedway |
