Twin Cities - North Vernon

Whatever happened with this track. Seems it has been closed for a long time. Could it ever be reopened? I remember this being the track where Jack Hewitt got hurt. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

It's been closed about 3 / 4 years. The guy that runs Brownstown (IN) Speedway had something to do with it closing from what I have understood. I'm not sure on all the details though. I'm sure someone that lives down that way could provide more context on the entire issue. I would imagine it could reopen under the right ownership. The track and facility are still this just sitting. It was a decent track, just never had the best car counts with them running on the same night as Brownstown not that far away to the west.
