I hope it works out, but TMS is just up the road and it had some really great events. The only thing it lacked was large fan support.

I live in Arlington so I'm interested to see how this pans out. To the previous post, IRL/Indycar ran at TMS for years and the stands would damn near look empty. I made almost all of the races out there and you could see the yearly decline in attendance.

But who knows, in a metro mess of more than 8 million you'd think they could draw.

Went to the WoO race last night in Kennedale and a noticeable difference in attendance from last year, but we also hade near gale force winds with blowing dust. When you walked outside you'd think you were at Eldora for the Kings.:9:

A lot of your dust made it here to the Midwest today. I will be happy to send it back to you, LOL. As far as a race around Arlington stadium, who cares. Indy Car doesn't want you, a sprint car fan, in attendance anyway.
