Stoga is back in 2025
 

The Avanti Windows & Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series will return to Calistoga Speedway on August 30th and 31st for the "Louie Vermeil Classic!"

Awesome news, place is on my bucket list along with Ventura.

Airline tickets bought, Rooms booked,and that was before it became more than a NARC event!

This is wonderful to hear, and like many of you it’s a track on my list as well. Oppweld messaged me as soon as he heard and let me know about it. I initially was full steam ahead but found out that it’s the same weekend as the 100k to win High Limit race at Skagit which will surely impact the NARC portion of the show. So I am reevaluating the plan. Haven’t totally ruled it out, but might wait a year. Not that wings mean all that much, but with the expense of the trip I want to get full value

Been to both. They are great venues. Two completely different types of tracks as well location. One is tiny but on the beach and one is huge up in the hills of wine country. Logistically a double on the same wknd would be tough. I wish the old California Sprintweek came back that was fun. Plenty of great tracks out there. Hope you get to check them off your bucket list.
