Now that’s what I’m talking about. Now I just gotta save two days vacation, lol

I have to say that there’s some good overall, but disappointed with the order of events. Once again USAC fans get held hostage by the wings. As many of you know, this is our favorite event of the year, and a family tradition since it began. When it began, it was a USAC stand alone event that was also 3 days of racing. 4 USAC classes Friday,Saturday, and Sunday. I don’t mind going back to 3 days. You don’t have to look hard around IOW to find folks complaining about wings added to the Saturday program. I’m not one of those, but what I will complain about is that the USAC portion should’ve been Friday and Saturday this time so all of the folks who could do without the wings can go and only have to deal with them on Saturday. Now we go on Thursday, for what we go for in the first place, and then we reluctantly go Friday, because we’re there and going back home isn’t an option. It seems to me that Eldora missed a shot at throwing a bone to USAC fans. Fans like me that have been going there since the mid 70’s for USAC. In theory it should make for a more efficient Saturday, which is good, but I could do without a night of wings and another ticket purchase

While I'll agree that I would rather have LM's or mods than Wings. THe event is now 15k each. If they could have a cushion and not let the track become a skating rink. It would be great. But it's been very hit and miss the last few years and rather than hitting a cushion and gassing it. They hit a wall and are trashing it.

I just hope to see the first 20 laps of the sprint feature. Last year was an absolute joke because of the dust!
