Saw Flea Ruzic call out USAC for a car with thin tubing they were allowing to race, before ultimately deciding to park it. Any ideas which car?

Still don't understand the 98 laps when the tracks toast in 50. Yeah Day got under him to win late but after halfway the excellent racing going on everywhere just one lined itself to catfishin.

It was the #99AU driven by Carson Macedo.

Charles,

I know they talk about tradition and the 98 laps but I would like to see them drop the distance to 50 laps and have an all out battle instead of the catfishing for over half the race.

I agree . The first half was almost as good as it gets .

Though Flea said it wasn't a big name driver? Oh well

Respectfully disagree. 98 laps brings out endurance and perseverance. With todays higher quality equipment and drivers focus on physical fitness Id be in favor of more laps.:deadhorse:

I thought it was a great race from start to finish - and I'm a Kyle Larson fan (so I woulda enjoyed it even more if he had got to battle to the finish). Maybe just don't have sprint car Q on Saturday? Assuming they had sprint car Q? I actly can't find full results for them...
