POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint League

Thought there would be conversation on this winged sprint car topic.

POWRi Introduces the Honest Abe Roofing Elite 16 Program for the 410 Outlaw Sprint League in 2025. $150,000 point fund!

Looks to be some pretty decent benefits for a regional series

Definitely agree with you. I'd say Honest Abe stepping up as a big-time sponsor. Lot different than the Maverick series.

It will be interesting to see what their schedule looks like for the upcoming season and who decides to follow the tour. Thats looks pretty decent for a regional series.

It is going to be interesting. Last year, it was a complete guess as to a POWRi 410 show. Some had 20+ cars. Some had single digit shows. I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I doubt that this is going to lead to a big swing. Most cars are still going to be dedicated to Knoxville, or one of the major touring groups (when they are in the area) and only run POWRi on the side.

POWRi was supposed to run a 2 day winged/non-wing show at Paducah , and showed up with 7 winged cars and 5 nonwinged cars the first night. They “rained out” the Friday night show, and there was rain in the area, although it didn’t rain at the track, and then cancelled the Saturday night show due to the notorious “wet grounds” excuse. Two of the 7 winged cars that showed up that Friday night were Maverick cars.

Look, I get it, it’s hard to get teams to tow distances in this economy. But tell the truth! Don’t cancel a show for some bogus reason. If enough cars didn’t show up, say it was due to a lack of participants.

I think POWRi can do okay in their IL, MO, IA, KS area, but outside of that they are going to continue to struggle.
