RIP Dick Wallen
 

I saw today that the legendary filmmaker of great dirt documents Dick Wallen has passed at age 90. What treasures those VHS tape’s were of the classic time’s of Sprint Car Racing. I had to go on YouTube and watch again for like the 50th time, my favorite race of all time, the 76 Hulman Classic, dubbed the Day of Reckoning. Terre Haute in it’s glory as Opperman is pure poetry in motion. Thanks Dick for those wonderful films
