First Turn at Kokomo 1970ish

I'm pretty sure this is Kokomo about 1970.

The #37 in the middle of the pack is my Dad's car with Hal Minyard. Can you guys name the others in the group?

Not sure who the other cars are, but the 1 is probably Rex Mitchell in what would be a rare Kokomo appearence for him.

I wondered if the dark color #57 is Ed Angle. But I thought the Robinson car was always white and blue.

Might be Ed, wonder what happened to him - nicest guy in the world.

Robinson changed colors at some point, don't remember when, but I don't think he ran any non-usac shows after the color change. The car might be one of Hazen's?

Jim Elliott, Tony Elliott's father would have been driving for Paul Hazen in the 70's, however Hazen's car during that time would have been white. The only color change would have been the color of the numbers.

Butch, the guy in the #11 looks big enough to be Dick Gains too.
