Paragon - Koby Barksdale
I was going to ask Paragon Speedway this on their Facebook page but they apparently have blocked comments and visitor posts.
Koby Barksdale was noted as the 410 sprint point leader 4 days ago with 519 points. They posted a current point standings today and Tim Creech II is the point leader with 511 points. They list a top 25 and Barksdale is nowhere to be found. What’s up with that? |
There’s some drama there. Check visitors posts on their Facebook page. Sounds like the 16K car won’t be at paragon anymore. That’s driver #2 that won’t go back already this season.

Seems like someone spun, created a wreck, got their spot back.. and the Barksdale/Knight team got mad? Said something about it, and decided to load up and go home? Overall, it seems they lost their spot as the points leader and that makes me assume they were asked not to come back? |
Re: Paragon - Koby Barksdale
Not seen nothing posted about it here but they just scheduled a fifty K purse race with the stipulation you had to have raced Paragon twice to be eligible.
|
So to clarify, while I was leading the heat race. 2nd place spun and caused a caution. Got his spot back. Ended up passing me and winning heat race. Which screwed us out of the dash. Since winners of the heats go to dash. Dash pays $1000 to win. If he would have restarted on the tail for causing the caution, he wouldn’t have passed us. Car owner asked all the officials to make it right since they admitted they made a bad call, and they wouldn’t. Basically said it is what it is. So we loaded up and left. Then, a few days later, when they posted the updated points, they removed us completely.

So I guess we will be seeing you back at Putnamville

Re: Paragon - Koby Barksdale
Paragon only has listings for a few races on their website for June and July, maybe the are playing it to see how long they will last.
