I have never been (or even considered being) a driver, but I have been a long-time member (and occasional part owner) of a team that ran modifieds, sprints and midgets over the years, so I'm as much a fan of the owners and teams as I am of the drivers. As a result, I wish the teams could get as much publicity as the drivers. In the current case, I have never heard of Clayton Snow. What's his background? Has he been running with USAC right under my nose, or has he been with the All-Stars, or is he a rookie? Is he the crew chief, or has he teamed up with a veteran, or ...?
