A bit of fiction in the off-season
 

With the assent of one of the good people I've not met in person, namely Allan Holland, I'm doing something a little different for the Midwestern off-racing season. This story has some pretty grim chapters, but some happier ones as well. A NASCAR driver retires and hooks up with a friend living in, where else, Indiana. Our "hero" discovers, what else, sprint car racing. And away we go.
