Something to watch tonight at Charlotte LM star making debut
 

Dirt Model star Brandon Overton will be making his World Of Outlaws Sprint Car Series debut tonight at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in a second Jason Sides car.

This to me is interesting since Brandon is a talented driver.
Guess will see how it all turns out after this weekend.:32:

Please tell me he has some laps in a winged sprint?
I have every confidence in Big Sexy as a driver that he could be successful in a wing sprint. But not sure this is the platform to debut in.

3rd slowest overall qualifier. He'll start on the tail of his heat.

I’d say he’s jumping in head first!!
I wonder what he paid for the opportunity?

Just goes to show how great Larson is. Wins in his first late model race, while Schatz struggles in a LM and Overton in his first sprint race nearly gets lapped running last in the C.

It’s Sides’ backup car, so he wasn’t (at least he shouldn’t) be expecting to do much.

I’d say that is still a nice piece of equipment

There is no backup cars in the top ten in points that aren't capable of winning.

Probably not the best event to make his debut, but I applaud his determination to take on a new challenge. I hope he sticks with it.
