Kokomo Seating Situation
 

If you went to the WOO race a few weeks ago you know just how many people were there. Kokomo needs more seating, and theyve had the grandstand supports/rows sitting underneath the back stretch stands for a few years now. Are they ever going to put them together? Also the pit stands they just built, are they ever planning on using those? its been built for over a year. and why did they put them in such a poor place. cant imagine you can actually see the races from where they are positioned now?

Parking is more of an issue than seating.

These are all long term projects and cost the track millions of dollars! There is a project to put the bleachers together soon along with many new features on the front stretch. This will be a huge funding project and like every business, it’s difficult to pull the plug with all of the uncertainties in the world, from prices of lumber, steal, etc.

Parking is also a problem and is also a long term goal and cost more money as well and in the future it will be done.

If you would like to help put bleachers up when it’s time, get with The O’Connors this year and give them your number as they could use your help. Also financially keep coming to the races and supporting or sponsor the track to help them.

I’m not a construction worker! I just want the track to be more responsible. I will keep going though as it’s pretty decent racing and it’s close by!

Looks like they have plenty of seats for tonight.

Any updates

Why would u want to spend money on more seating when they only pack the house one or 2 times a year. The outlaw race is not even put on by them. They just lease the track for that race is what I was told.
