Kendall Ruble

Ruble was suspended for 6 USAC races and 6 MSCS races after DQ’d last September. Pretty sure the 6 USAC races have passed but I don’t believe 6 MSCS races have passed. Tonight’s race at TSS is co-sanctioned so how is he able to compete tonight?

They qualified so I’m guessing yes. Perhaps that’s why he can compete tonight.

So then another question. What’s the point of “co-sanctioning” if it’s USAC’s rules and USAC points? (Question would be same if it was MSCS rules and MSCS points.)

Dont they switch the rules back and forth on the cosanctioned races. I think the cosanctioned race at the end of the year has been MSCS rules at least for the last few years. I think USAC only gives feature points when they have a non-standard show. I think tomorrow is also cosanctioned.

So let me get this straight.. you would rather have less cars at the track? I get that he got caught soaking, but come on, he's far from the only one who's done it. Certainly isn't the first who's been caught. And definitely won't be the last to do it either. Let's just let the kid race and be thankful to have one more car on the grid

It's show up points, Something like 75 when you compete in a co sanction under the other sanctions rules. Possible that MSCS just won't award him any points for the USAC run event.

Show me where I said I wanted less cars on the track please. Anyone who knows anything about me knows I’m all for as many cars participating as possible. It was simply a question.

And just because “they all do it”, doesn’t make it right. Rules are rules.
