Klepper
Hey all,
So I suppose with all the misinformation as to my situation with USAC this year, I should set the record straight. The only reason I am not back announcing USAC events is because we simply could not come to terms. That's it. It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I now have my real estate broker's license. Anyone saying otherwise is misinformed. I will still be covering different racing series for TV and am currently exploring new PA/live stream/etc., options. Again, thanks for all the kind words as I really do appreciate it. (On a side note, if you do not like skyrocketing gas prices and want to move out of the country please let me know as I can certainly list your house) Thanks, rk |
Best in the business imo!!

Now that makes sense!
Wish you could have come to terms. Good luck in you new endeavors! Definitely one of the best open wheel announcers! |
You would think when they replaced you that they would have gotten someone who knew something about open wheel racing

We'll miss you. I'll be glad when LaPorta figures out who's driving what.

How about people give TLP some ⌚,after all he's only announced 2 Midget & 2 Sprint Races.

In no way do I mean to take away from Rob Klepper, but FloRacing could have done a heck of lot worse than TLP with Rob's replacement. |
Re: Klepper
In my opinion most announcers could talk less and let the action speak for itself.

I’m of the camp that TLP will be fine. The best advice I would give him is go back and listen to Rob and also Chet. Those guys are my favorite announcers. Actually was looking forward to hopefully getting both of them together a couple times this season, oh well. . I thought Tony did well for his limited experience with USAC. If Florida was the worst we get then I would say that we’re in for another great voice behind the mic for USAC. I want to recommend to you guys Dirtrackr conversations podcast has an interview with TLP. Good interview if you would like to know more about him and his commitment to our favorite types of racing
