Second winningest USAC midget driver
A recent thread about the death of Terry Wente mentioned that he was the son of the third winningest USAC driver Bob Wente. A friend and I discussed who was the second winningest driver, but didn't Google or do any research. We mentioned Sleepy Tripp, Rich Vogler, Jimmy Carruthers and even Bob Tattersall as possibilities. Mel Kenyon is no doubt number one. How about it IOWers, what say you?

Ron, just think what the All-time Midget Win Record would be if Rich raced even, 10 more years! I love Mel, Don, Brice, & the whole family, but Rich was coming for him. R.I.P. Rich. ❤
