Friday's Gas City Sprint Feature Pays $2,020 to Win
 

The Jerry Gappens Sr. Memorial, which pays $2,020 to the winner of the non-wing sprint car feature, is this Friday night at Gas City I-69 Speedway! Modifieds, street stocks, hornets and winged outlaw micros round out the jam-packed show!

The pit gate opens at 3 p.m. and the grandstands at 5 p.m. Hot laps are slated to start at 6:30 p.m. with the racing getting underway at 7:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are a low $15 for adults, and children 12 and under are free! It’s the perfect family outing! Pit passes cost $30 each.

The evening is in honor of promoter Jerry Gappens Jr.’s late father. “He is the reason I love racing, exposing it to me at a very young age,” Jerry said. “I miss him dearly but I’m glad I shared so many great memories with him. Join me this Friday as we celebrate his memory with five divisions of great racing.”
