Congrats C.J. Knew when you started winning and won the championship at Burg, You were headed for bigger things.

Congrats to Davey Jones as well, While the wins weren't often, the Oval Nationals was a huge one and if they beat ya, It wasn't easy.

It was great to see the Reinbold/Underwood team capture the USAC National Sprint Car Championship in person and hats off to the entire team. It was a pleasure to talk with Andy Reinbold numerous times during the season and him taking the time to speak with me. It was also great to see CJ Leary run a very consistent season taking home the championship and trophy in fine style. And last but not least it was wonderful to see crew chief, Davy Jones, finally get a championship winner after 35 years of trying. Davy is one of the best at his trade and is very deserving to share in this award. Again congratulations to the many others involved with this fine team and all their work behind the scenes.

Outstanding effort. The season is a real grind and it cost ALOT of money. Reinbold/Underwood team was not only fast at every venue, their car was consistent performer. C.J. drove like a true champion, never letting his emotions take over and lead to bad finishes. It had to be frustrating to have so many fast qualifier results but not out and out race victories. I may never understand the Gas City finish. I prefer Car races to electronic gizmo scoring.

Great Job Champs. That is one bad ass Sprint Car you have.
