KTJ SECURES SPONSORSHIP FROM McDONALD’S AND DR. PEPPER

Speedway, Indiana (August 15, 2019)………Kevin Thomas, Jr. and Hayward/Thomas Motorsports will have a new look for the remainder of the 2019 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season beginning with #GYATK Night and Sprint Car Smackdown VIII at Indiana’s Kokomo Speedway August 21-24.

McDonald’s and Dr. Pepper, two sponsors that need no introduction, will adorn the No. 19 driven by the 2018 championship runner-up from Cullman, Ala.* It all came about after developing a relationship with Jeff Chamness, the National Account Executive for the McDonald's Team at Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group.

“We’re very glad to have sponsorship from McDonald’s and Dr. Pepper,” Thomas said.* “I love McDonald’s and Dr. Pepper, so it’s a great fit for myself and our team.* It’s great to have support from these types of companies in the sport; companies that are known worldwide and which you can easily show your support for every day.”

Thomas has been a standout on the USAC trail throughout the decade of the 2010s, where he’s earned 26 career USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car feature wins, which is tied for 17th all-time alongside National Sprint Car Hall of Famers Tony Elliott and Dave Steele.

This year, Thomas is fourth in series standings with one victory at Bloomington Speedway during Indiana Sprint Week.* He’s started all 17 feature events held thus far, ranking in the top-five in laps led (43), top-five finishes (11) and top-ten finishes (14) in 2019.

Are you being facetious Bobo? Grainger didn't like him telling TSS crowd that we were #1 :8:

Actually, Grainger wasn’t on the car for the last 4 races of ISW. “Speedtown Comfort”, a HVAC company in Speedway was on the car at the last 4 races of ISW. Grainger was not on either car KTJ ran at Knoxville either.

Congrats to KTJ and the team on landing this sponsor!!

Maybe the sponsorship ran out,who knows. We're glad they were able to land a sponsor, I'm sure there are others that would welcome some help,we wish KTJ & team nothing but the best.
