"INDIANAPOLIS -- Conor Daly is returning to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the fan-favorite driver is doing it in one of the most coveted seats in all of motor sports. Daly and five-time Indy 500 champions Andretti Autosport announced Wednesday that they are teaming up for May’s 103rd running of the 500, with Daly poised to drive the team’s fifth car -- the No. 25 U.S. Air Force Honda."

Hope he does well. Anyone that tries to run midgets, no matter how long the odds, is okay in my book.

I'd like to think his attempts at connecting to the grass roots played a part in this. Good to see! ...not enough of this has gone on since the REAL IRL effectively ended in the early 2000s...(my last attended 500 was 2001...not a coincidence...lol)

And there will be more midget races for Conor this year.
