FloSports experience?

Has anyone on this board had experience with FloSports? I'm prepared to purchase their FloRacing package in order to watch USAC races this year, but after reading several less-than-flattering reviews, I'm beginning to think it would be a bad idea. Would love to hear your own experiences.

Doug Boyle from Indianapolis Motor Speedway endorse them at PRI show. I would think the Indianapolis Motor Speedway would have checked them out. Hope it's what we're hoping for time will tell

I purchased the year for USAC. If you stream a lot this is a heck of a deal price wise. Watched some mods from east bay last weekend. No problems thought it was good. Nothing like being there in person at the track though.

I too purchased and watched some of the Modifides from Tampa. I thought the announcers were lacking and the camera shot sometimes did not show what the announcer was talking about.
I don't really care about any of their broadcasts except for USAC and I hope the announcer they have for the USAC races is comparable to the guy SpeedShift had. But for $150 it worth being able to see the races I can't make in person regardless the announcer.

Isn't Sean Buckley gonna be involved in the USAC shows for FloSports? If so I wouldn't worry about the quality...

Thanks for your input. It's not so much the quality of broadcast I'm concerned with, but several reviewers complained about problems getting what they had paid for, and a lack of response to their queries to FloSports. But it sounds like some of you have had a positive experience, so I may just have to bite the bullet and hope for the best. I would hope that USAC did a thorough vetting job before signing on with them. It's a terrific deal if all goes well.

I ordered it as well and the first night they had some sound issues but they ironed that out in an hour and the picture was great. They have some issues on the Roku Box when you Fast Forward it freezes but you don't have any of those issues on the laptop. One thing I hope they improve that Speed Shift does is make it where you can watch it from the Beginning. Right now you only have the choice to jump in Live or watch it the next day. Hopefully as the season goes on everything improves. 150 for the year is a great price if you compare that with say WoO's Dirtvision which is about 400 bucks a year (40 a month for 10 months).

Sean Buckley is involved in the video, don't know who's announcing but that part should be good.

I haven't read the contract thing yet but can you just purchase monthy and watch? Going to be at the only race in March.

Don't confuse the message with the messenger. Flowsports is more or less like the cable company for your TV. They are taking a broadcast someone else more or less produces and making it available to you as a "channel". It's the content producers, like USAC... or the modified show you were watching that is the primary source of the nature, quality and style of the broadcast you are watching. I would expect USAC to have a nice production whereas if there's a guy with a crappy camera and crappy internet it's not going to look as good... due to no real fault Flowsports part.

It's a 150 a year or 30 a month.
