100 races before you die
I did this about the same time last year at TrackForum. Will be interesting to see what changes there are from last years results.
Let’s compile a list of the top 100 racing events and or tracks that you should attend before you die. I'll compile the list one week from today 11-7-08. List five events at a time, it's OK to post more than once and duplicate to events that others have posted. The event or track with the most votes gets #1 and so on. My 2008 votes. 1) Indy 500 2) Monoco Grand Prix 3) Belleville Midget Nationals 4) Oswego Classic 5) Bathurst 1000 |

Re: 100 races before you die
I have no doubt that most of you attend nothing but open wheel races. I go to both because I have seen some awesome late-model races at Eldora. To this day the 2006 World 100 was probably the best race I have ever seen. The #55 of Jeep Van Wormer was pushing his car so hard that he was dragging (barely I might add) his right rear corner of his car coming off 4 throwing sparks in probably 50-60 of the 100 laps. Maybe you just had to be there. Back in the day, I would have added Daytona 500, 2 Bristol races and Darlington. NASCAR is just not that great anymore, 15-20 years ago it was pretty good.
I would add" World 100 Eldora Dream Kings Royal Talladega USAC race at Bloomington |
