I see the 77 was put through extra tech because he ran a Ford. Really? It was a 410 and it was legal. Problem is that there is a video out there saying USAC techs nothing but now the Ford gets extra scrutiny. TMEZ better watch it or he could be put in time out for speaking his mind. He might be the next driver penalized under the new Ballou rule.

I don't think it had anything to do with it being a Ford, but if I remember correctly that team had an issue earlier this year at Vegas with their 360 motor being found to be illegal and having a win taken from them. So maybe after that USAC thought they might need to really check them out this time.

You are correct about the win being taken away. Please correct me if I’m wrong, I believe they were running the prior seasons engine and this year there is a change with the heads? Seems funny there is a rule change that affected the car running a Ford that kept winning championships. I admit not knowing the full detail of what happened in Vegas, but I’m sure they won’t be able to just show up and race like everybody else. Yes I’m saying something stinks here.

Yep, you are so correct about something stinks in cra land.
Back when it was just CRA or SCRA, either one, it was much
nicer racing & more money.

You're correct about them running last years engine and there being a rule change.I also believe that it was an honest mistake made by the team and not something they did on purpose.
I'm not so sure about them being singled out because they're running a Ford engine though as Rodney Argo ran a Ford for many years here on the west coast and he wasn't subjected to any kind of hassle's when his car was teched,it was no different for him than for those of us that run Chevy's.:32:
