Not since 1979 has non wing sprint cars raced in the state of Georgia

I raced gainsville GA with usac in 1994 or 1995 got 12th

This is fantastic news, OMG! I live in Georgia and have been hoping and praying something like this could happen, especially seeing the success of WAR & ELITE. This is spectacular. I've been in DLM since 1986 but I'm really wanting to get into non-wing. Glad its not a 602 series, but I would've taken that over nothing.

In 2004 Jon Stanbrough won a USAC sprint race at Dixie Speedway in Georgia. I can see how it might have been forgotten, there wasn't much of a crowd.
