We'll be there, Casey!

What classes will be running in support of the WAR Sprint Cars and what time do you anticipate the first heat to be run?

cshuman 7/19/18 1:39 PM

Hot laps are scheduled to start at 6pm.
Support class will be street stocks.

What sort of car count can be expected? I’m over from Australia staying in Indy for Sprint Week and if the weather doesn’t improve for Plymouth could rip over to Champaign and still get a race in. What are the track details?
Thanks

I didn't make last year, but I'd expect 24-30 cars. The WAR series is a very competitive and exciting series!

We were at Champaign last year for this event and IIRC the car count was around 25. My advise to you Mitch would be to make it a priority to get to Champaign if the weather doesn't cooperate for you at Plymouth. If last year was any indication you will not be disappointed with the show at Champaign. The Champaign County Fair is going on in the background of the track which makes this event a bit more appealing. Nice fair, great food, etc.
