Drake Besecker
 

It's probably been a year now since Drake went through the horrific surgical procedure. Just wondering how he's doing and if things have improved in time.

I also wonder how things are going. I really miss Lauren and her posts on this board. I have stopped a couple of times on my way to New Castle to see Kevin and ask about Drake. Unfortunately, I have missed him each time. I still think and pray for the little guy as well as the entire family. I sincerely hope that everyone is healthy and well and that this part of their life can be put behind them.

I spoke to Kevin at the 4-crown and asked him how Drake was doing. He said he is doing good and they will have some issues to take care of as he becomes older but all and all he said things are going good. One of the reason I stopped to see him was to find out about Drake because I to was following the her comments while it all was going on and then they stopped and left you hanging. But Kevin said things are going good.

I spoke with Kevin in WI (in Sept. I think) and that's pretty much what he told me.

Thank you fast one and Dano 959 for the updated information. Glad to hear the little guy is progressing. Hope that Lauren and Kevin can start getting some rest and relaxation soon.

Talked to Kevin last night, told him to let Lauren know everyone is looking for her on here. Said he'd let her know.

I sat with Grandpa Rick and brother Nic last night and Rick said to tell everyone Drake is doing well and is onery as ever. Seems to be a difference of opinion as to what kind of car Nic starts out in. Nic wants to do go-karts but Kevin wants quarter midgets. This should be interesting. I'll tell you what though if you have ever watched a race with him its amazing. He doesnt miss a thing. he just doesnt watch the leader like most kids his age. He will start talking about what so-and-so is doing back in the pack or what someone else should have done to make a pass. Cant wait to go see him race no matter which car he ends up in.
