Power Pavement midgets
 

Anybody know what's up with this project? I got excited when the news came out, but haven't seen any new updates short of a schedule being released. Now I hear they're postponing the season opener. I fear they may be done before they ever get off the ground!

Not POWRi, but if your looking for midget racing in the 815 zip code area, this Saturday (May 5th) the Illini series is to be at Rockford Speedway, in Loves Park, IL.

The action on track includes the Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, Miller Lite American Short Trackers, Kickstart Roadrunners and the return of the Illini Midget Series. Also added to this Saturday night’s schedule are the One-on-One Spectacular Drags!...

(you can run your OWN street car on the track for the price of a pit pass!)

What about if we don't want Mark Zuk to share everything we do with everyone; but still curious what is goin on with the POWRi pavement midget deal?

The schedule is incorrect the July ARCA Midwest race at Grundy is an ILLINI racing series date. Different promoter and he told me that the ILLINI is still on for this race and he would get this corrected on the Grundy county web page.
