Re: ballou comes up big at the burg
Ballou drove one heck of a race to win that one tonight. However I must say that is the best race I have seen Jon S. run since leaving the #53. He looked like the Stanbrough of old. Also great to see all the items on the auction and so many people bidding, hope alot of $$$ was raised for a Great cause. Bob Bressert

Re: ballou comes up big at the burg
If it wasn't the best race I've seen this year, it ranks up there with the best. Sprint feature over before 11 p.m.

What a way to end the race season! I would be highly shocked if I see anyone state they didn't get their $23 worth on this night. Jerry |
Re: ballou comes up big at the burg
Great night last night!!!!!! Track was perfect and the racing incredible!! How lucky can the #6 G&N racing team be? Todd Kane flipped it in the heat and put a slight reparable bend in the front axle. Then, he flips it in the C main and breaks a heim end on the tie rod. Basically no other damage. And yes!!! Moffat had a fantastic run!! Whenever you can honestly say the Darren Clayton was in your way, that's saying something!! Great job Joss and Bill!!!

Re: ballou comes up big at the burg
When Jon grabbed the lead after the restart with seven to go, My dad said its over now! I said, Oh no it's not. THat's the Madman!
Robert lost his brakes sometime durring the race and just flat footted the final five laps blowing by Jon with two to go. Lots of side by side racing and as I said before. The old track slicked off would have been huggy pole. This track they just keep finding more speed and different lines. Chuck, congrats to all, glad everybodys safe and hope everyone got home safe. |

What an awesome night to end the season on:thumb...Hunter's run to the front of his heat, the wild 4 car battle for the final transfer from the C, Short and Gaines getting after it for the final transfer from B-2...and best of all the 40 laps of good clean racing at the end of it all:applaud:.
Watching Gardner, Stanbrough, and Moffatt all carve their way to the front was wild :respect:. Great way to end the season:checkered: |
Re: ballou comes up big at the burg
Congratulations to Robert Balough on his big win.
What I think is ironic is how this was supossed to be the Championship race for the MSCS series but didn't seem that any where even mentioned in the top 5 other than Balough who really doesn't run for the points. Kind of like last year. Does this matter or not? I am just kind of wondering if there would be any difference if this was a MSCS sanctioned event or not? I have thought that the last MSCS race of the season should be lined up for the feature by points rather that the regular format to reward all the drivers that have competed all year for MSCS points. Do any of you think this would be a good idea or not? |
