MTS Baer Field Dirt Friday 9/8
MTS is running at Baer Field on Friday. I believe it is the only non wing 410 race in Indiana on Friday. I'm curious to see the what kind of car count and fan support they get. I went to the SOD show at Baer Field. Good field but a very small crowd.
Anyone hear of cars that are running? Any fans taking it in? |

Re: MTS Baer Field Dirt Friday 9/8
When the schedules came out at P.I.R. Boss had a Saturday race at Mountpellior the same Saturday as this was scheduled for Sat. Now it looks like it is on Friday so we are not going to make this one as we already have plan's. I think it pays $600 to win and $30 for the pits. (That's what we were just told on the phone) Not sure why they changed it to Friday night this close to the show but I hope they have a good crowd.
Does anyone know the payout for M.T.S ? Jerry #66j |
Mts is never 600 to win
This show is 1000 to win 225 start |
Re: MTS Baer Field Dirt Friday 9/8
I will be there spectating.
Baer Field announced about 2-3 weeks ago they would be switching to Fridays for the remainder of the dirt season. The revised schedule is heavy on UMP Late models and UMP modifieds. I assume switching to Fridays was to avoid conflicts with Montpelier. Flyers were posted at Winchester this past weekend regarding the MTS show for Friday. There is also a non-sanctioned, Non-Wing sprint car race scheduled for Friday, Oct 14th I think they will be fine with car counts and crowd. Now for the weather to cooperate. |
Isaac Chappel will be at both Baer Field and Montpelier this weekend, per the teams Facebook page.
