Super excited for the race coming up at the historic 1/2 mile in Terre Haute. Weather looking good, huge car count for the Silver Crown series. (thanks Andy and others for rebuilding) Going to be a fantastic Sunday afternoon.

So you have? Wisdom, Leary, Grant, ?

Be pretty impressive if JG manages to pull off the W after already winning the openers for the other two national series. The man is on a roll. Awesome to have such a big field of crown cars. Wish I could go.

I am coming out from Philadelphia, PA area. Plan to visit my daughter and her husband and two boys in Ft. Knox, KY area and use their house as a base for the USAC sprints at L-berg on Saturday and then the USAC Silver Crown at THAT on Sunday then head back home. Great to be retired! Hope weather is nice, but lucky I can visit the family in spite of any weather issues. It will be great to see real race cars again. Non-wing sprints and dirt champ cars RULE!

Sounds like a solid trip! My brother lives in Virginia but works in D.C. and I have used that as an excuse to get out to Williams Grove for the Outlaws a couple times. I'm headed to the War East show in Brownstown, IL on Saturday and if I can swing it, head on down I-70 to Terra Haute. Gonna be a solid weekend of racing, safe travels!

I'm picking Leary for the repeat, but there are a lot of cars capable of winning this one.

I was going to start a thread like this but I didn't want to jinx us, now every time I look at the forecast it gets worse. As of now the later in the day the worse it looks, I hope my 2 weather apps are inaccurate. Anyways I'm thrilled to see California ace's Bud Kaeding and Damien Gardner coming back to the Action Track. If not mistaken, Bud has won here in the crown car's before. I'm gonna pick Grant to win, Mr Kaeding as my sleeper. See you there!

What is the weather forecast looking like making drive down from Shawano Wisconsin via Tipton Iowa. Have to be at work at 8 Monday.

What weather forecasts are you all looking at?? There's actually a 0% chance of precipitation at 5pm on Sunday. This according to Weather.com on my iPhone.

Thankfully the forecast has improved since I wrote that. Looks like we're safe as long as we're done on time
