They should be posted on our web site no later than Monday. The attached engine declaration form must be filled out by all team's prior to racing with us. We are a D2 based series however we are allowing other engine's with restrictions.

well I guess it's a big secret lol

Madison will be on the little track this time. We hope to do some testing on the big track while we are there and maybe run the big track next time we race there. We have left open our options to race a 2nd time at both Wisconsin track's later in the season. The small track is what the promoter requested us to race on our first race.

Re: ILLINI midgets rules meeting
Lota respect for the promoter (not just because of this post...MIS was all but closed as a race track - again - recently & now there are many nights of stockcar races & a few open wheel shows! - in addition to many other interests).
Handful of other guys I also respect, as racers & friends, enjoyed the laps they turned on the "little" track at MIS in one of the original IRS races there. I really would like to see it as good as a fit as it could be for all involved (IMHO, that is not on the 1/2mile...). |
Unless I'm not on the right website I don't see any engine rules yet and its Tuesday ,

We are working out a couple thing's before posting the rules. They will be up very soon. We want to be proactive and are addressing a few things. It is our goal to keep the car's affordable and equally competitive. One of the many thing's we are doing is compression tech at each race. We also had some tire rules missing that will make it illegal to alter tires.
The rules will be published soon and it still gives team's plenty of time to prepare their cars before our first race in the middle of May at Grundy County Speedway |
