Yes it has pushrod/cantilever coilover under the front bodywork. I believe JJ is an engineer.

At first glance, you're right, but then you notice there are no torsion arms, and no (visible) shocks or coil springs. Instead, there's what looks like a radius rod running from the top of the kingpin up under the nose on either side. I'm guessing they either connect directly to a coilover mounted crosswise, or if it's really fancy a bellcrank with adjustable ratios to a shock mounted longitudinally.
