Why is there all this posting about ASCS series on here for?
There's no 360 wing racing in Indiana.
Just wasted space, they have their own web page...

Because they know that the best race fans come on here and they are trying to draw them over to the dark side!

To PAW and OPweld: I like winged cars and traditional sprint cars . Notice I did not say non-wing sprint cars. There is not such a thing. However, you must admit Knoxville last Saturday night was a classic.

I am not an ASCS fan. But just wanted to state for the record that ASCS was scheduled for Brownstown, IN earlier this year but Mother Nature had other plans.

Not sure where I stand regarding ASCS as an organization or their racing, but think of it as a compliment to ISW that the professional PR types who are posting for ASCS think that ISW stands out enough in the overall spectrum of sprint car racing sites to take their time to post here.

Why not just enjoy sprint car racing as a whole? I too prefer non wing racing, but I will go watch wing sprints and plan to be at Brownstown next Saturday for the All Star show.

Maybe some folks cant stand winged racing, hence we don't enjoy it. It always strikes me funny that folks say to like all racing because it's racing. Some folks just cant stomach certain types of cars or racing. In fact we might actually think that some types of racing sucks.

flagboy55 8/22/16 10:25 PM

Actually isn't it sprint car racing and then winged sprint cars, or did the first one have a wing?

pushinthecushin 8/22/16 10:41 PM

If you don't like winged racing, fine but you dont have to get on every thread that has something to do with winged racing and say, winged racing sucks. I dont care for sprints on pavement but dont go on every thread about pavement sprints and say i dont like pavement sprints and act like my opinion trumps everyone elses. Preferences vary.
