Terre Haute Make Up
 

I've never been and it's 3 hours minimum from home. I know you obviously can't determine what time the races will be over; but how do they usually do for getting the show in and around what time could I hope for them to have the show in?

Tips?

Talk me into going.

probably be done before dark with only one class running

I have 4 1/2 hours home and have to work at 8:30 am. That's why God created coffee!

Should be a great race to cap off one of the best sprint weeks I've seen.

If you have never been to Terre Haute it is well worth the drive...hot laps alone are worth the price of admission.

So if you're not cool going to the action track will make you so?

Any indication on the weather? I heard nothing up to 40%. Anybody down that way that can be more accurate??

It has been awhile since I have been there, can you take your own beer?

Looks like a 30% chance from 6-8pm. After that it's basically a 0% chance. Should be a great night for racing. :22:

Here's my radar read. There's a line reproaching central IL that is running into drier air and weakening.

I judge it by radar to get to the track area between 1-2pm. After that the rest looks to be trekking north. May hit hard, may be nothing left by the time it gets there and it will still be early, Who knows?

12:30 report. lower end of front is still weakening with most staying north of Terre Haute, Some spotty showers behind but not much. Front will move through within a hour or so and I don't think there will be much if anything. What happens later, Who knows, Right now nothing to indicate they wouldn't get it in, But its IN and anything can happen.

I made the trip once on 0% chance of rain only to get deluged after qualifying.

What are you guys thinking about the showers popping up to the west? I feel like you're a part time meteorologist when you are a racing fan.

Its got nothing to do with Meteorology, Its reading radar and if there's something and where it's heading. If it's growing or drying out as it moves. That Line earlier was headed directly at the track and the south end of it was drying out as it approached and was nothing by the time it got there.


4:00 report. T Storms west of track. there is a split. I estimate 5pm track time if it hits. After that there isn't much if anything developing

yes,i've been using it all this week to somewhat keep up.just got word from a pit crew member that THAT won't be broadcasting out that info.must be just them.that s#cks!

Just found out race monitor is not covering the race tonight. What a crap move, the last race.

I totally agree!come on Jen,be our lifesavers.

They said there trying a new timing system that is not working. So qualifications are on delay. Lol

Selfish is as selfish does.Sounds like karma biting someone on the rear.hopefully next year they get their regularly schedule night,that way the finale will be somewhere else.

To be fair, they had problems with Race Monitor last USAC race there.

Iv got a spy in the pits, if I here anything good il post. I don't want to step on Jens toes by any means.
