I don't think you can expect race teams or fans even, to show up on a moments notice.
Sure hope you don't wait til the day before your SKM race to actually announce that. I know several outta town fans that would like to attend that race...but since your pretty much keeping that date a secret, those fans have other plans now. This means lost revenue for you....maybe you don't care?
Your racers and fans deserve better.
Race teams and fans like to make plans in advance, some need to schedule a day off to attend your races. Not everybody lives in Monroe county...

The Sheldon Kinser Memorial race has been announced for a while now, but I wouldnt want you to interrupt your complaining to go research when the date is (by the way, its July 15th)

The last I had heard, they wants going to have the Sheldon Kinder Memorial race this year. It wasn't on the schedule at the beginning of the year, was it?

No it wasnt on their schedule at the start of the year it got announced a few weeks back that it was gonna be on the sprintweek show

Is it complaining if someone makes a suggestion that could be beneficial to a race track? I think there are a number of posters here that are opposed to any posts that aren't filled with ball washing positivity.

Actually Chris, this is the first I've heard of the change. I couldn't believe that they weren't running the SKM this year, considering the tradition and the impact Sheldon had on sprint car racing at Bloomington. I'm glad they're having it, but they really screwed up by even considering not having it.

There was an announcement made back during Midget week about it, I posted something on here as well about the announcement. I believe the track put something out as well

Yup I was there when they announced it.

Unfortunately I haven't made it to Bloomington this year, been working way too much overtime. That's probably why I hadn't heard about it.

So....any info about what is happening at the track tonight? Heats? Anything?
